Looking back through the lense of hindsight can really highlight things you missed, regardless I am also sorry to hear about that. Hopefully you and the other friend can make your own cooler groupchat!

That is horrible, I am so sorry to hear that they treated you that way.
My wife got cut out of her friend group a few years back and I know how much it hurt her. Nobody deserves to be treated like that, if they have any reservations about you they should be mature enough to talk to you about it.
