1/ I am not religious. At least in the usual sense. I respect life - all life. I marvel at the diversity and complexity. I can undrstand how humans, once they developed the capacity to wonder, have invented creation myths, supernatural beings, etc. But I prefer simply to⤵️

I just started Bennet Parton's "Somewhere Toward Freedom," an historical chronicle of Sherman's campaign through Georgia that was a major factor in ending the Civil War. It tells of some 20,000 emancipated Black people, joining in. A HUGE part of history I had never heard.

It would take very little time. Add to defunding the fed govt cutting off commerce. Close harbors to shipping; stop rail traffic thru states.

My view:
They would take most/all blue state governors with them. It would not be just resigning. It would be telling Abbott & the many parasite states to fuck off. It would be the first step to the soft secession that is the ONLY way this war can be won.
