It's so easy to say what you'd do in any given situation until it actually happens. When faced with something life threatening we truly can't predict how we'd react

I bet it does seem so trivial if you're a man because it's not like this shit happens to you regularly. Like yeah I would love to just be able to throw hands and yell at someone who's telling me the heinous things he wanted to do to my body. But I fucking can't. I'd probably DIE if I tried fighting

And no I wasn't wearing anything revealing, literally a sweatshirt and leggings and I STILL got harassed. Got scolded for not telling someone when the only other person there completely ignored what was happening and turned away when it was time to go. I didn't know what to do. I just ran.

I understand they tell me these things from a place of care, but getting angrily told "Well why didn't you say something???" like you think I didn't THINK of that. I fucking froze im sorry! Why do I have to apologize for a situation I had no control over? Why is it my fault I almost got hurt?
