September was bonkers busy and October is shaping up to be no different, and I very much need a full week of doing nothing which I'm not going to get for a while, BUT I get a day of holiday to go see my sister talk about the use of cleanerfish in salmon aquaculture, so life cannot be that bad

Here's a breath of fresh air.

Glasgow's chronic air pollution was one of the earliest issues I raised when I was first elected. I was always clear that we'd never crack it until there was bold action on the most polluting vehicles.

So like, is it a "never properly internalised that your kid is an adult" thing, or is it a "never really trusted your kid and didn't start upon adulthood" thing? I feel like a lot of dynamics I see lean towards the latter :/

My parents (Gen X) are pretty good at treating me and my sibs like adults - but also like, they've always been good at trusting us/treating us with respect even when we were kids, esp compared to other parents I knew...
