Mel was silent for a while, to make the small amount of words she did speak feel all the more weighty,

"...Exactly."

Slowly turning their head to give her a look at his face. Pretty, much too feminine, with dark blue oceans of eyes. The witch had been smiling despite the lack of Rei's reflection.

At first the mage is silent, heading towards her,
But stepping past and then opting to sit next to the river near the vampiric being.
Melan's big eyes stare into the water at their own reflection,

"Why does anyone do anything? I'm here to reflect is all. Much like in the pretty water here."
