Powering the GR GT is a short-stroke 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V-8 hybrid powertrain which Toyota said will have a combined output of at least 641 horsepower and 627 pound-feet of torque, helping propel it to a claimed top speed of at least 199 mph. What do you think of the sound?

The GR GT is the first halo car from Toyota's new GR brand. It's a high-horsepower, rear-wheel-drive supercar that could cost around $500,000 when it goes on sale at Lexus dealers near the end of next year as a 2027 model.

The 2026 Jeep Recon arrives as the brand's second EV. Its two electric motors send 650 hp and 620 lb-ft of torque to all four wheels; it has an estimated driving range of up to 250 miles. Jeep says Recon production is slated to start in early 2026, and when it goes on sale, it'll start at $66,995.
