If you thought the "we are Charlie Kirk" song was cringe, wait until you hear "we are Jeffrey Epstein"

The thing ive personally observed about history Vs fiction is that fiction tends to be very overt and fast, but if that thing happens in reality it tends to be much slower and more obfuscated

This, by estimation, is what "taking over the world" looks like
What is Trump's Board of Peace - and is it going to replace the UN?
Originally planned as a small group to oversee the Gaza ceasefire, the board has morphed into something far more ambitious - and Trump could be chairman for life.

Along with increasing the age you can get on social media we should probably also introduce comprehension tests for the elderly to make sure they're still cognitively capable of being on social media. John Cleese here needing a wellness check

If the US was only interested in defense, it has agreements with Denmark to make Greenland a fortress. BUT

1. It would have to be focused on mutual defense
2. This gives them no access to natural resources

Few interesting points I've heard about messaging RE Maduro

Even the US isn't justifying it via "he's a brutal dictator" so when YOU do, you are effectively working their PR for free. By doing this you make the narrative "oh you think removing dictators is bad?", and lo and behold, thats happening

So now we are at 2 out of 3 global super powers who have started a war with a smaller nearby nation, with the intent being regime change to install a friendly government to more easily capture resources.

Are there any small nations near China that have opposing governments? Oh...yeah...

Honey wake up! "their president is a drug smuggler" is the new "they have WMD's"

Another paper thin excuse for another war for oil.

If there's anything that immediately underlines how out of touch you are, as I just saw Paddy McGuinness do, it's (in the context of complaining about *young people*) going

"Millenials 😏"

Paddy my dude, there are no young millenials left, and I fear that has been true for several years

Not a day goes by where this comic isn't relevant, and that in 2025 it is still even *remotely* necessary is like sand under my nails

Most people know that the first P in PHP stands for "PHP", but what most people DONT know is that "Mac" in "Mac and cheese" also stands for "Mac and cheese"

I really liked Ghost of Yotei but the ending annoyed me very slightly.

Without spoilers, two characters are present at the end and one is required to sacrifice themselves but EITHER could have. The one the writers chose, however, i think was the worse choice and wraps up the story in a messier way

This attack is a direct result of Israel desperately trying to conflate Israel (the state) and Jews (the people)

They made this scenario inevitable by saying "to attack Israel is to attack Jews". It was only a matter of time before someone thought "if I want to attack Israel, I should attack Jews"
Israel's cheerleaders are weaponising the horrific Bondi Beach antisemitic attack.

They intend to use this sickening atrocity to silence opposition to genocide.

But now is the time for moral clarity - to oppose violence against all civilians.

Yet another example of the right being fundamentally untrustworthy. Kirk gets shot and they lose their minds over anyone acting less than devastated, citing "anyone no matter your opinion of them gets killed you should be respectful", but here's trump shitting on RR *the same day* he's killed

This is a great example of one of the many reasons why I don't believe Democracy is the best system of directing human civilization.

Rather than being led by reality, we are being led by perception. And if you can panic a person? Their perception may as well be made of clay

The older I get the more "back when people weren't so sensitive!" comments piss me off with how naive it is.

Like I'll see people talking about the 2002 "it's not for girls" Yorkie ads and saying this shit. MY BROTHERS IN CHRIST, PEOPLE IN 2002 THOUGHT EVERYONE WAS SOFT THEN TOO

Well obviously, male puberty gives a person an unfair advantage at political conferences.

Anyway, now that labour have gone full mask off, it's not about safety or equality they just don't believe trans women are women, can we stop all efforts of giving them the benefit of the doubt?
