Also v amused that a pal in the States ran into a Mari Lwyd at a collectibles event in Pittsburgh. He was very excited to send me this pic and the person under all that was thrilled someone knew what Mari Lwyd was.
Mari Lwyd - a sort of hobby horse using a real horses skull held aloft on a pole. The human operator is covered in a white sheet, skull held aloft and decorated with colourful ribbons. Went out for tea with a mum pal to the local pub last night - rather excellent fish n chips followed by churros (not pictured) and home by 10.30. Lovely stuff ❤️
