We teachers have suffered Capita for years. Many have waited *years* to be repaid pension money illegally taken, as per McCloud. I’ve paid £7k and counting to service their acknowledged debt to me. They (in league with government) won’t even admit they are responsible. Shysters and crooks.

The plaudits for this book make it clear how easy it will be to take the US out of the game in any future war. Any place that puts freedom before society like this will be a sitting duck for any viral weapon. Give it a longer incubation period and wilfulness will do its job.

The crypto link is an important one and a key element in the link between criminality and the rise of the far right. Gullibility and greed draw them in. Often those two things have got them into trouble before, sometimes they are new 'recruits'. More than anything they are weak people, easily led.

If they aren’t available free then they are seen as a luxury not a necessity. If the government really cared they would be free for all. They don’t care though, they put saving money over and above anything, secretly happy with the chaos they are causing.

I said this as Trump was re.elected. European safety can only be served by destroying Trump’s America from within. If we have not been agitating for civil unrest and more Europe has not done enough. It’s not RUS vs EUR it’s RUS+US vs EUR if we fail to attack America and divide it into irrelevancy.

This government is struggling over electoral legitimacy with the size of its vote. Another election like it will likely lead to total collapse of authority. Introduce PR quickly to stop that happening.

All of this could have been avoided if Americans had got their act together and assassinated him. They seem to do it at regular intervals but not for someone who is literally destroying their country? What gives?

Not enough. His mini-me mate Farage is currently riding high in the polls as the braindead, selfish part of the UK's population put their finger on the self-destruct button again (first time for Brexit which destroyed us and it's the same people). It's those people that need to go, in both US & UK.

He's been demonising teachers for a while, maybe others are only just noticing as it seems that he might actually able to follow up his words with action. The first things to go - education, health and media, the same as Trump.

There is a great danger in letting fascism run its course. Peaceful defeat would be nice but at an untold cost in human lives, destroyed institutions, the collapse of reality? Nazis had to be fought violently, it’s a massive gamble with humanity to think that this time they won’t need to be.

America is engaged in a war for, or against, fascism. People inevitably get killed in wars. That Americans don’t realise this is perplexing (the UK is also on the cusp of the same). Kirk is merely in the queue behind thousands of others dying in wars on the same day.

Now on an epilepsy medication (which I don’t have) which seems to be helping a lot, just a shame that it’s taken four years to get this far…..

You also miss the one thing that the normal population are up in arms about, that being the mass arrests of (mostly) pensioners alongside priests, ex-armed forces etc, just for holding a sign supporting Palestine Action. That’s a story, jailing those who threaten individuals is not.

This is just embarrassing. We are at least trying to counter our limited number of fascists, keeping the rest of the population safe. You elected them.

A bigger problem is that labour is no longer seen as political at all, just a bunch of managers. That leaves them with no constituency that can be relied on to vote for them. Politics isn’t just about managing things better, it needs inspiration and vision and it just isn’t there.

I’d go further and have the upper house reflect vote % of the general election. Together with veto powers it would create a parliament demanding consensual government.
