Wait -so they spent all $5 billion in SNAP contingency funds (ON WHAT?) and would have to transfer $4 billion in order to fund the reserve? Where's the 5 billion?? Justice Jackson's order delays funding SNAP for 48 hours, allowing the appeals court to figure out how the government is going to get the money. But through Justice Jackson's order, the next court filings should clarify (1) whether the government already exhausted the contingency fund on SNAP (which doesn't make sense because the fund is supposed to cover 2 years) OR (2) whether the government took the money and used it for something else entirely @alexrias.esq
