#Clerith is literally canon. Remake's Ch. 14 resolution confirmed that much pretty clearly, with Aerith asking Cloud not to fall in love with her and Cloud literally protesting and trying to grab her arm. He loves her, folks.

replies felt weirdly discouraged on twitter (at least to me) but I really recommend getting back into the habit of telling artists directly when you like their stuff. not even in an engagement farming way, it just feels nice. nobody's day is going to be worse hearing that you like their work
