Absolutely.

Take Goldie O'Gilt for example. I'd have to be blind to say she's not attractive, one of the most in the show.

BUT, Della being a mom and always trying to be a BETTER mom is insanely attractive to me.

Every now and then, I get this doubt like "Is it too dark/serious for me to write Della suffering from PTSD in the same fic I'm trying to keep tonally consistent with the show?"

Then I remember, she CANONICALLY had to self-amputate her own leg after getting it crushed in a crash.

I have the DuckTales art book on order and now, since finishing the series, have gone back and added more to the beginning of my fic, TWICE.

The brainrot has stabilized and is in a self-sustaining feedback loop.

I've gotta admit; haven't actually finished DuckTales yet.

Have less than 10 episodes to go and I'm really curious about them, but like, I also sort of DON'T want to see them, 'cause when they're over, that's it. There's no more.

And that's harder for me to come to grips with than it should be.

It's less Della's age on its own and more a combo of that, and being both a fantastic mom and unbelievable badass.

Like, she survived a rocket crash on the moon, lost a leg in said crash, survived living on the moon for a decade, all to just get back to her family.

THAT'S attractive as FUCK.

A little, yeah.

My biggest hangup is that there's no more after I'm done with the show. No more adventures, no more Della being cute/adorable/a great mom.

S'pose it'll be up to me to channel all that into making the best damn DuckTales fic the internet has seen since the show ended. 😤
