Watched the White House meeting with Ukrainian president. There is no doubt that not only is the USA officially unreliable to democratic solidarity, it is actively hostile. Canada, Mexico, EU, Japan, South Korea, Australia, and New Zealand now have to accept we have an antagonist, not an ally.

In these times when identifying ourselves as Canadian is important, we must include all those struggling in obscure poverty. They are part of who we are as a country and Canada can only get stronger when we help them achieve self-sufficiency. Surely a good country does that, right?
