Less so now that they're full of tensor cores alongside the cuda. Tensor cores specifically are completely useless for graphics.

It's definitely more normal than the newer H100/200s so I imagine it would work a little better. How was the performance? I've seen benchmarks before for the A100 but they were significantly worse at graphics benchmarks than the 3000-series cards it was up against

Nvidia AI GPUs use HBM memory, not DDR, so I don't know what you'd put it in.

They lack driver support too. Basically worthless for anything other than their stated purpose.

GPU is really just the wrong term for what these are. I guess we're only using it because we don't have another name to use.

Can you imagine if a democratic president ever did anything remotely like this against red states?

Couldn't they reserve part of the context window for the guardrails? This might just be a consequence of the probabilistic nature of LLM output. Just roll the dice til you get the result you want. The very nature of these things makes security impossible

It's delayed indefinitely until they can nail down a new release date. 2030 is a placeholder

Do not take anything anthropic says at face value. That article is just them hyping up their product. The LLM produced output that looked like blackmail because it was prompted to, nothing more nothing less

The extra funny thing is that the execs with superyachts aren't actually going to feel this at all. Their wealth will not grow as fast as they want but it will impact them in no real way because they have so much more than they will ever need. Of course, they will throw a fit regardless

There's gotta be more to it than gerrymandering considering there's two republican senators from Texas.

He was probably not one of those, from a cursory google search. Those people generally don't attend rainbow gatherings. Probably his unspecified mental illness (possibly schizophrenia) was the biggest culprit here. Seems like he was delusional
August 9, 2025 at 5:45 PM
It's so appalling that that was actually allowed in court
August 5, 2025 at 4:32 AM
He doesn't have to do what the grieving family wants. He could and should have said no to this grotesque mockery. It's not automatically right and good to do what they want.

I'm logged in and there's still only 47 results for games tagged "adult". Down from thousands.

Because the payment processors will refuse to work with Steam if there's anything they don't like on the platform. Their goal is censorship, you're not going to get around it with silly technicalities.

A lot of bad people can seem decent in passing. At the very least he lacks empathy, and seems to have replaced his higher functions with ChatGPT
