The thing with plagiarists and fabulists is, you have to nip them in the bud. It sounds unforgiving and uncompromising because it should be. Don’t like it? Do something else for a living.

Well, if we push "command responsibility" to its logical conclusion, what about journalism educators? Because one can argue a journalistic sin as bad as plagiarism is also the result of bad education, not just incompetent editing.

Now, SMNI is vile and its journalism is nowhere near ABS-CBN’s. But that can’t justify shutting it down.

Of 14 stories I monitored online on the GSP+ assessment report on the Philippines, only 3 or 4 tackled the main component of GSP+: human rights. The rest just swallowed PH govt #EUinPH propaganda.

In our HOA,residents fight each other while developer watches from the sidelines,popcorn in hand. 🤬 Developers rule villages through divide/conquer but they don’t really have to do any dividing/conquering as angry, exasperated residents take their frustrations out vs each other instead of developer.
