Heya. 'Drank less' is an interesting phrase. Think I heard it once before back in '87.

Pressure is lower than Otis' nadir already which is alarming. From what I read Melissa wasn't expected to hit 5 for hours.

Moving very slowly, picking up strength.

Everything crossed it follows the least damaging possible path.

Sweet, sweet serotonin.

Awesome! Congratulations! I look forward to both learning and being entertained. No pressure 😁

Yeah I'll leave that to Hafthor Björnsson and I don't rate even his chances 😬

I'm loving this. 16k then a mighty +3 were part of my formative years.

Typing in machine code listings from magazines put me off coding for 30 years but was a charming and interesting bit of hardware with quite a few tricks in the right hands.

Nintendo 64 had an absurdly fast CPU and GPU for the time but was crippled by, among other things, insanely high RAM latency which isn't so great for a unified memory architecture and a tiny texture cache.

Between them the processors sit waiting for IO a ton in many games.

Thank you! Was a very interesting watch.

When most of the support they have left is the exact groups that need to either see cuts to payments or increases in tax it's delusional to talk about fiscal conservatism.

Working age welfare reform goes some way but fundamentally GDP has shifted from wages to wealth, tax hasn't followed.

Indeed we should. If they're going to bang on about fiscal responsibility they should probably explain how they're going to pay for things and make it vaguely realistic though.

The books can't be balanced without policies that'll tax or reduce payments to their base. Everything else is noise.

In this case it'll be referring mostly to the triple lock on their state pension I imagine. Might be an element of promising no social care changes as well. When a third of the group are in millionaire households churlish to cut into their approximately £140k/head net from taxpayer.

As I recall she had the temerity to ask the demographic with the highest rate of voting and large numbers to contribute more and went down in flames as a result. Prior to that she was flying.

Do you have a reason to describe these polls as dubious?
October 8, 2025 at 11:28 AM
Think they're talking more about the 'support and defend the Constitution of the United States' and 'I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same' parts.

You were ranting and I was absolutely here for it.

That looks like Starforce from memory.
