Funny, this story hasn't made the BBC News website. They are reporting the defection of a Scottish Tory peer to Reform. I wonder how they missed this story.

Great news, expose them as the patriots they are not! This will keep Farage away from TV interviews for a good while longer.

If the Tories unite with Reform I think it could be the end of them as an election winning party. Reform have peaked in popularity and as they achieve power in councils are being found out. The Tories are going the wrong way, they need to return to being a centre right party.

Not profession related but this is the worst question I've had: I'm male and have a female twin sister. Question: "are you identical?"

The media are fighting for readers\viewers via "clickbait" stories about migration or government scandal as a means of securing them. Consequently in depth coverage of an issue that really matters e.g. housing or social services is avoided for these puerile dramas that will be forgotten in a week.

Excellent exposé of the prospective composition of a Reform Welsh Government. I hope this gets widely read across Wales so people can understand who they are actually voting for, rather than just voting against the traditional parties.

"In the early stages of the pandemic ... Johnson's team reportedly had a "jovial tone" and considered the Italians to be "overreacting" to the crisis by implementing strict containment measures and suspending schools and work." Former deputy cabinet secretary Helen MacNamara Covid inquiry.

Sickening. My son was frontline NHS, him and his team were making their own masks for months.

Johnson correctly blamed for his abject management of the Covid crisis. They should also review the part the right wing media played in driving lockdown policies. They pressured Johnson, but now bear no responsibility for the number of avoidable deaths.

I grew up in the 70s; 3 day week, power cuts, petrol rationing, 3 tv channels, Gary Glitter, and our culinary highlight was a Vesta curry.

Thanks for sharing the article. It gives a good insight of how the BBC runs, constantly in fear of right wing criticism.
