You know, that's such a great way of putting it haha! It really does feel best utilized by those who are neurodivergent. Until I made my new blog for my (mostly tadc) abdl stuff, all I did was reblog and follow others. I personally think that's lke, the best way to use it. Or as a digital scrapbook.

So if you do want to get into it, I suggest taking time to look up things you like. There's blogs for everything. Maybe not kinky stuff, but I assume you, me, most people have interests beyond diapers lol. I follow blogs for: lava lamps, 80s toys, disney adventure magazine scans, 70s bedrooms, etc.!

tumblr. It's happy scrolling. You look at it for a little and feel satisfied because the culture there does a very good job of curating a blog. You follow a blog for a niche book series, that's all they will post. It makes you happy and inspired instead of sucking the soul out of you. >

But when you do finally have blogs recommended to you, it's addicting. It's as if the site can read your mind. It's fun! But it's meant to be enjoyed like, passively? Idk how to describe it. It's just fun to look at. You don't need to post anything yourself at all. There is no doom scrolling of >

things you're interested in, reblogging posts, posting and tagging (it's a MUST on tumblr), do you finally start having blogs to follow recommended to you. Unless you choose to look at the "for me" tab, it never has an algorithm. There is no shadow hiding posts, you see everything as it's made. >

I think people expect it to work like twitter and bsky. NOT making fun of you here when I say this: people have gotten a bit lazy with their online habits. We expect things to just come to us with little to no effort.

Tumblr you HAVE to curate your dash there. Only after spending time following >

still a more sfw centered site at the end of the day. Tagging is a must if you make your own posts. Not strict but it is part of the culture.

At the end of the day, tumbl is enjoyed best when you just chill and blog/reblog. Like partaking in a LGBTQ+ event at the local library.

1. I don't recommend using it for art. You CAN use it for art, but that's not really like, the point? It can be but I think people upload art to it expecting it to work like it does here and it doesn't.

2. I would keep things sfw personally. They have dialed back on the banning of nsfw, but it's >
