The ordinary people did sacrifice, but after an “understanding” of change.
The change happened, eg NHS, welfare etc. But, the establishment have been trying to slowly undo it since 1945, and appear to be succeeding more and more recently. Especially since thatcher haunted wm. Even Labour govs ffs.

Definitely is so. They never accepted how after ww2 there was a fundamental change in uk. Ordinary men and women (mostly from poor backgrounds) were called upon/compelled to sacrifice to save the british state.

I believe that if UDI is declared there is hee haw wm can do about it. It might be against their law, but so what it’s our law that counts after UDI.
