Excited to have contributed to the first systematic bibliometric review of research on global catastrophic and existential risk: esd.copernicus.org/articles/16/.... We analyse 3,437 documents, identify and describe 10 emergent research clusters, and show how these clusters have developed over time.

In research on global risk, work on how catastrophes occur and spread in complex interconnected systems (systemic risk, cascading risk, polycrisis) has rarely been connected with work on global catastrophic risk (worst-case outcomes).
