I had to do a double take! Except for the border, that looks nearly identical to the one and only quilt my mother ever made. She started it, my sister finished the piecing, after my sister died I finished the entire quilt by adding a solid border and machine quilting it.

Finally finished. Only took the months. Still need to back and quilt. And OMG it's effing HUGE!!!! lol I knew it was big, but this?? It's 10 feet square!! And yes. The plan is to hand quilt, God help me. Lol I'm thinking of doing one pattern in the blue areas and another in the light. /1
