Nationwide, more Democrats (by far) than Republicans misunderstand what state legislators do. It’s why there’s so much work to do in the next two years to flip both houses in Raleigh. And it’s why voting down ballot is as important as getting Democrats out to vote.

Justice Allison Riggs has retained her NC Supreme Court seat by just 625 votes! While recounts and challenges may follow, this race proves EVERY. VOTE. COUNTS. Her victory moves NC Democrats closer to flipping the Court, ending GOP gerrymandering, and reclaiming the General Assembly majority.
