Well. I'm having a bit of a sense of humour failure about it, tbh.
What is the point of paying money for somebody to teach you stuff wrongly when books, blogs, friends and/or ChatGPT can teach it correctly?
Not ok. 😡

That is so funny.

Is her show notionally her interviewing other people? I really can't tell. She kind of asks a question but then carries on talking for ages.

The Cobbe collection, right? I stayed in that house once, guest of the Cobbe family, incl. father who had collected all that. After dinner, he played a load of them & talked about their history. Really magical - and bizarre.

I am out of there pronto!!

3/ Also, I then raised this particular "charity visit" on Monday in a French conversation. Note to self: try not to discuss string theory in French! - bit tricky.
Though I did have a decent discussion last year in French about game theory... 🫣

2/ It was used last year to invoke outrage at how much some of them earn: in fact, most of the best well-paid "charity workers" are investment managers at Wellcome: some of the most successful investors on Earth, all of the proceeds going into, you know, developing Covid vaccines and so on...
