He’s such a bootlicker that I’m almost embarrassed for him. Had to stop following him because he knows better but still opted to go all in on Trump, no matter what imbecilic, unconstitutional or just plain awful things he does.

Thank you for this article. I’ve long been failing at conveying Trump’s antisemitism. Jews who support him reply:
1. He has Jewish grandchildren (so what?)
2. He’s so good for Israel (I believe this support is as much, if not more, for his evangelical Christian base).
How does one address these?

Criticizing Israel’s government isn’t antisemitic. Israeli and diaspora Jews are pretty critical of Netanyahu’s government. Did you not see the massive anti-Netanyahu protests in Israel pre-Oct 7? However, denying Israel’s right to exist as a Jewish homeland and to defend itself is antisemitic.

How tragic.I lost my mom to brain cancer 35 yrs ago and know too well how devastating the diagnosis is. My mom passed only two weeks later so we didn’t have time to enjoy together. I’m glad the Loves have had some but it’s never enough & they’re all far too young. Sending love to Mia and her family.

I suspect there will be a lot fewer Canadians visiting as well. The exchange was a deterrent but the attack on Canada has a lot of people cancelling their 🇺🇸 travel plans and buying 🇨🇦.

One thing that came to mind last night: Who could have known when I bought tickets in Oct how even more meaningful it would be for me to see a great Canadian singer/songwriter celebrate a legendary Canadian artist. I definitely felt that emotion during Ron’s heartfelt show. Don’t think I was alone.
