I’m so close to submitting an application for her. I had been telling myself I wasn’t ready for another pet just yet—lost my cat suddenly in 2022, and my dog of cancer last august—and liked the idea of being able to travel without coordinating care, but I haven’t gone anyway on a whim in so long!

literally hired a biweekly queer, neurodivergent-friendly cleaning service because I was fighting myself too much. gives me the motivation to tidy up before they do the tasks I don’t want to do like the bathroom and dishes.
