This from a man who wants us to believe that God spoke to him through a painting of an eagle and told him he was going to be prime minister. Seriously!

Ginger improves everything!

When you have the time to think about the comparison you must feel extremely proud and satisfied. What a transformation.

Well, yes. What’s wrong with these people that they can’t live in a world where people disagree?
January 10, 2026 at 9:43 AM
I may be old-fashioned, because I certainly am old, but aren’t writers festivals places to go to be challenged in your thinking? Just like universities? I thought that’s what learning was about.

Especially indigenous people.

They learned from the emus.

We are now now just some other place they can take over whenever they want. The only thing that might save us is our size, but it won’t save all the places they have bases.

I thought the whole point of getting different people was to get different opinions. I don’t know why people are so fearful of hearing something they might disagree with. Just disagree.

It’s incomprehensible to me to be honest.

Burger patties or meatballs for pasta.

Nobody should be shot. Not on a public street for doing nothing in particular.

Well said.

Hope all turns out well for everyone.

Those eyes!

I venture to suggest that the people that suffer the most from racism are indigenous Australians.
January 8, 2026 at 8:37 AM
And to all of you. You brighten my day.

I detest these things. It’s almost impossible to back out of a supermarket car park with one on other side. You take your life in your hands.
December 28, 2025 at 1:11 AM
Sam, nothing that you have written gives me hope that you will live sparingly.

Different texture with crunchy katafia (sp?) pastry, pistachio cream, crushed pistachios and I think a touch of salt, good quality chocolate. I like it, but it’s expensive so not often eaten in my house.

Ham. Cold Christmas pud with butter.
December 28, 2025 at 1:06 AM
Have a great Christmas. Please post some pics occasionally, especially of Wally, my favourite. Words unnecessary.

Have a great day with your family. I know they’ll be well-fed!

It’s not as if barking at people in this horrible fashion actually works either

It’s the opposition and the other nut cases in parliament that should be extending the hand of bipartisanship. It doesn’t go the other way. They are being just as divisive as they have been for decades.
