If you have some time on your hands, I heartedly recommend doing contributing to the National Hedgehog Monitoring Programme. So far I've spotted 2 hedgehogs, leaping squirrels, sleeping cows and curious birds. And one pooing fox. ptes.org/campaigns/he...

Bottom-up thinking is a process of taking in the details, and building up from there. Making the connections between information. Pulling out the important details. I’ve always been good at synthesising information - and now I understand why!

It’s often hard to explain how I feel (thanks interoception) but this critter popped up while watching Astrid et Raphaelle (fab crime show) and I feel seen.

Malcolm Gladwell’s ‘Talking to Strangers’ highlights why the world can be dangerous for neurodivergents, especially autistics. Eye contact. Fidgeting. Tone of voice. Truthfulness. Literal thinking. Hidden social meanings and rules.

The choices and actions we make today to prevent and adapt, will help reduce these inter-generational inequalities.

Happy birthday to my first adopted child. Laika is 11 years old today (which the internet reliably informs me = ~mid-60s in human years.) May your day will filled with food, cuddles, and opportunities to assert that our garden is absolutely definitely yours. Woof!
