www.maps.com/atlas-guo-di... Many thanks to Maps.com for the kind feature and interview about my U.S of Natural Disasters map (cartoguophy.com/maps/us_natu...) and other thoughts on cartographic design. I deeply appreciate the opportunity to share my work and passion for mapping! ❤️🗺️

Grateful for honoring me with this award! This map visualizes our personal footprint in the US. It is not a grand story or made to serve many, but it carries a message: maps are not only for experts or institutions; they can hold our own stories and memories. I created this guide map for our historic tour by Shanghai Dérive 魔都漂移, following the photographs of a renowned journalist and photographer (a UW-Madison alumnus) to uncover historical moments in Shanghai during WWII. Follow our WeChat and RedNote account for more details.

As my #AppleMaps internship wraps up, I feel incredibly grateful for the journey—full of learning, growth, and new perspectives. Huge thanks to my colleagues for their constant support and encouragement, and to the many talented new friends who inspired me to think bigger and #ThinkDifferent!💡

This past week, my map was on display at #ICC2025. It was my 2nd time with work at ICE, but the 1st time as a physical poster. (Thanks to my Apple & UW colleagues for photos!) After several U.S. showings, I’m excited that it had the chance to contribute to global public awareness of #disasters.

www.sco.wisc.edu/2025/07/22/c... Thanks for featuring me! I'm sharing another submission, centered on lesser-known WI counties of Menominee and Shawano. As a client project in UWCartLab, this map traces historic railroads and their conversion into trails. A large print is at the Trailhead Center.

Gratefully wrap up #EsriUC2025 with 3 maps named finalists in Interactive Web Map (cartoguophy.com/maps/us_risi...), Map with a Message (cartoguophy.com/maps/israel_...), and Innovative (cartoguophy.com/maps/biking....). Also highly appreciate Dr. Amy Rock’s shoutout during Cartography SIG session!

It is a true honor to thank Esri president Mr. Jack Dangermond in person for featuring my maps at #EsriUC plenary session 4 times! ☺️ #EsriUC2025

Thank you Prof. @arobinson.bsky.social for inviting me—the lonely Badger—to the Nittany Lion party at #EsriUC2025! As a small token of appreciation, I made #LEGO style topographic map of #Pennsylvania and printed it as stickers. That's the advantage of traveling with a printer and trimmer😉

Great thanks to Lisa Berry for introducing my historical hurricane map (cartoguophy.com/maps/histori...) as your favorite one in Esri Map Book Vol.40 (www.esri.com/en-us/esri-p...) during the #EsriUC2025 #MappyHour session (mediaspace.esri.com/embed/secure...; at minutes 15 & 16)!

NOT for votes at all - but if you’re at #EsriUC2025, and want a #LEGO style California map sticker (cartoguophy.com/maps/lego_ca...), find me at the Map Gallery today or later this week! Also got a few leftovers from past designs, but supplies are very limited (not for sale, just gifts for friends).

My first in-person #Esri User Conference kicks off with 10 maps in the gallery (A-18–1&2) and 2 featured in Map Book Vol. 40! But what excites me the most is finally getting the chance to buy exclusive Mappy souvenirs from the Esri Merch Store (not yet; all freebies in last photo)! #EsriUC2025

A July 4th creative detour: I brickified/LEGO-fied the iOS 26 Apple Maps icon into a 3D #LEGO model! Proud to dedicate this playful little tribute to my internship at #Apple Maps 🍎🗺️

At the suggestion of the International Map Industry Association (IMIA) team, I gave my website a little update by adding the #IMIA member badge. Many thanks for featuring me (and my brand) in the May Newsletter. It’s an honor to be part of this network! myemail.constantcontact.com/IMIA-Newslet...

Work’s been busy lately, so I spent the Juneteenth holiday creating two #LEGO style topographic maps, one for #California, and one as a playful tribute to #Apple where I am currently interning. Hope they bring a little joy to your weekend!🍎

Gratefully received the Best-in-Show award (A Mini Gallery of LEGO Topographic Maps) in this year’s UW-Madison Digital Salon, displayed at library together with another map (United States of Blooming Risks), plus 4 more entries included in the online exhibition. designlab.wisc.edu/digitalsalon/

One of my recent hobbies is making magnets/stickers of my own #maps, especially after discovering how nice the painted maps look when printed out. Of all, which one/category do you like the most: #LEGO maps, hand-drawn maps, reference maps, or graphic designs? 🎨 #cARTography

Incredible #LEGO display at @barnesandnoble.com! Special thanks to so many friends stopping by my booth. As my original North American map has been donated to American Geographical Society Library, I just made a remake version of it, and will hopefully share an instructional document for free!😉
