Surprise! 2022 attendees will remember Fred Schodt, the winner of the 2022 Spurgeon Award, for his work as a manga scholar, and for breaking ground on English translation of manga, starting with the works of groundbreaking creator Osamu Tezuka. We're so honored by his return to our festival!
