Maybe that's fine, I hesitate to say it's good. Either way, it's not just a concert thing... but shows are an encapsulation of how this incentivized perma-surveillance has changed our collective behavior and the way strangers relate to each other in public.

I'm not trying to be curmudgeonly, as someone who dragged a chonky point-and-shoot to hardcore shows for this reason, I love that people can so easily create little keepsakes of live music now. But the always-on, always-recording nature of Phones At Shows does change The Vibe, at least for us olds.
