My previously healthy 90-y-old mom diagnosed with pneumonia a month ago. Had her 3-week repeat scan Thurs, on Fri night her MyChart reported she has extensive metastases in lungs. Not diagnosed with cancer before this, don’t know where the original cancer was. Her doctors won’t see her before Feb 25

Had to confront my personal phobia yesterday…then try to defend it while everyone else laughed. Ferrets. Seriously, rat+snake=ferret.

Ummm…hello? Finally able to escape the bird site. I used it as was originally intended: to listen to medical professionals, to talk with like-minded nerds, to watch funny dog videos, and to follow my favorite comedians. I don’t need the hatefulness it has become. May it die a thousand deaths.
