Transgender and transgenic are not the same thing. But please, focus on that. Meanwhile, they’re cutting Medicare and Medicaid funding because they want to give tax breaks to billionaires.

If our Christianity causes kids to go hungry, the sick to go without healthcare, the stranger to be unwelcome, and the elderly on social security they paid into to be called a “parasite,” all while billionaires get richer, we’ve profoundly misunderstood the most basic elements of Jesus’ teachings.

Imagine if you spent $8 million on feeding kids lunch, creating housing for homeless, or guaranteed income for most of the country. Instead we spend $8 million to tell people that Jesus gets us. Sure, yeah, that’s what Jesus meant by love your neighbor and serve the least of these.
