Meanwhile, Elsewhere TWICE by now kill me) but if you're just running off more copies because you're out and need to do another print run, you just change those numbers to reflect whether it's the 2nd/3rd/etc printing and run more off. Real heavy collectors only fuck with 1st printings usually

When you change anything substantive about a book beyond correcting typos/promo stuff on cover, i.e. adding a forward/afterword, changing cover art, etc, then it becomes a subsequent *edition* and it needs a new ISBN and basically gets treated like a whole separate book (we've done this for

The digital catalog platform most independent bookstores use to peruse and order new books for their stores (called Edelweiss) has jacked up their prices on publishers to catalog new titles 200-300%.
