I wrote this over a month ago - unfortunately her social media page on Facebook has Indigenous commenters being targeted with racist slurs. Her status as a former Conservative staffer may need to be taken into account if she permits racist attacks in her comment section.

I truly appreciate the magnitude of what PM Carney has to do with our economy and sovereignty first. As soon as we are on more solid footing, I believe our PM will use our stronger economy and stronger borders to start tackling climate change. We are in an imperfect situation right now.
