The Red army absorbed, usually fatally, huge amounts of German ammunition, which German factories couldn't replace due to (checks notes) British and American bombing attacks on German factories. Not belittling the sacrifice of the people of the Soviet republics, just how much of it was necessary.

Having said that I am aware that perspectives and experiences are not unique, and they vary over time. Part of the live experience for me is the shared joy and comradery with those around you. Others might not get that.

The problem is that the act of filming in itself distracts from the videographers core experience of the concert. I could not be fully engaged if I'd be constantly concerned with what I am capturing. Disclaimer: Have worked in television which skews my perspective.
