"LLM trained on reddit can approximate the appearance of reddit" is not especially impressive. Reddit is free, functionally infinite, and mostly bad. What purpose does this serve?

I hate this stupid country but this shit is genuinely un-American. While it's always been an empty promise the US was founded on the concept of inalienable natural rights. You get rid of that and there basis for constitutional governance is gone.

On top of everything else it's been wonderful for my sleep habits.

I am retroactively annoyed that my doctor at an LGBTQ health center refused to prescribe it for me. I can't imagine going without it now.

Escaping Minnesotans by going to Maine is like evading a mean housecat by hiding in a tiger pen.

There's a lot of really great people there. But it doesn't feel like it's on the bleeding edge of things the way it did for decades.

I love my hometown. But it cannot be overstated that SF in the 2020s is 1) extremely uncool and 2) a place where very few people work anything resembling a normal job.

I haven't seen this kind of vibes shift since the summer of 2020. But even that took a few weeks. This was like 48 hours.
