I am fortunate that I have friends that'll take me in even with the idiot dogs, we weren't planning on leaving because we're technically outside of the flood plain, but it's all around us and we'd be stuck for who knows how long

We're going to stay with a friend in the morning and I'm just sitting here like... should I wash blankets to take? Do I just go to bed? Is this the worst time of my adult life?
