Please keep putting pressure on PayPal. Stories like this are becoming more and more common. Artists don’t deserve to lose their source of income over payment processors being puritanical/anti-small business.

As an update - I’m staying in this state, and the new job honestly looks fantastic! Starts in Jan. Working on getting an apartment figured out.
