This is one of those changes - we need to end gerrymandering and increase competition in elections. We need the best of the best leading us and setting the example

Right now, it seems like both sides in the US are reacting to what they perceive as significant negatives of the other. What the US needs right now is an #inspirational and #aspirational vision for the future, one that resonates with people across the spectrum. #integration

A lot of us don’t want to consider opposing perspectives. We feel like doing so is an implicit acceptance of their perspective, like it’s a betrayal of the values we hold dear. But it’s not. It’s absolutely critical - for “winning” the #culturewar, or cultural #synthesis.

I had the craziest experience today - I was at the barbershop, reading @tanglenews.bsky.social when I experienced something that's hard for me to fully describe. Reading about federal budget cuts, something wild hit me.
