Genuinely not comfortable with the new line, being repeated in all quarters, that Brexit happened "cos we were lied to!"
I had access to all the same obvious & indisputable evidence as every other Brit at the time. No one forced anyone to vote Leave. Live with your conscience. Cowards.

I suspect that my beloved & I are lucky to not have wider circles. We are likely unbearably lovey-dovey by most standards. We've definitely already long beaten my entire prior life total of times someone has complimented me & I've believed it, & it's only been months since we started.

The anxiety is real. When you've found something that works for you & it wears out or runs out, there's no way to know if anything will work as well again. Even something as simple as a tea-strainer. When minute changes in weight & design can ruin everything? It's exhausting.

In one of those access is weird moments, the little tea-strainer I bought for 17p from QD 17 years ago [cheap plastic with steel mesh], which I ended up using to grind herbs by gently rubbing them through, has begun to surrender to metal fatigue.
What if they just don't make them like they used to?

I mean, we've got loads of cool stuff to see & do too - even more if you venture out to the near countryside - but our food is definitely a serious highpoint.
Also the peeps at Namaste are seriously good eggs, which a lot of restaurant owners seem to forget is an option.

Living in the capital of veggie/vegan food has its perks.
Like gorging myself on veggie korma & gulub jamun.
And also watching my veggie beloved be delighted by choice & variety.
Namaste Village is reason to visit the city all on its own.

Ultimately they snapped in half for the same reason the Comets exploded: we didn't understand the science yet.
Square hatches produced stress cracking, the steel contained too much potassium & sulphur to remain ductile at cold temps, *any* welding doesn't arrest cracks.

Genuinely glad to find Oceanliner Designs aiding in dispelling the myth of "bad welding" being what took out the Liberties & T2s. It was a poor excuse for racism & misogyny at the time, even, but now we actually understand the basic metallurgy, brittle fractures in steel, it's just a lie.

Part of the reason so many governments attack disabled people who can't work is capitalism. We aren't using our labour to make someone else rich.
Never mind that we still pay tax on top of the massively increased cost of disability. Never mind that everything we need help with is a job created.

I really do mean casually. I was still just eating my chips but my left hand deftly twirled the fork & readied for a cluster-stab before I was consciously involved. Luckily I also have extensive experience quelling homicidal urges on account of all the clifftop walks mother would take us on.

The thing that really gets me about the whole "SSRIs can make you homicidal" thing is I am one of those chemically weird people that they can have this effect on. I nearly stabbed my best friend with a fork for stealing a chip, as casually as breathing, but I didn't & we immediately

contacted my GP who told me to stop taking them. This was on day 3 of the new med. So if it *is* a wider problem it's cos people don't have proper holistic care access. I *could* get an emergency appointment on the NHS within hours & resolve the issue. Also, my prescriptions are free.
