the blanket notion that anything nsfw is exploitative and anything exploitative should be banned is unbelievably harmful to art in ways that puritans don't appreciate because eventually they'll find leopards ending their own face when the definition of "nsfw" expands to consume them.

oh i spoke too soon. it's not JUST patreon making any form of nsfw art extremely difficult and tedious, fucking GUMROAD is banning ALL nsfw content entirely too! a place seemingly only for nsfw artists!

patreon has new rules about consent for nsfw art that even if every character enthusiastically consents in every frame of a comic (or whatever else), if there's ANY "visual elements" that might indicate duress, it's now allowed.
