I have to point out examples where the Constitution gives certain powers to specific govt branches. I have to point out that changing a Constitutional amendment requires going thru a process outlined in the Constitution. And exec orders do not change the Constitution. (2/2)

And I decided to do this because I want my students to be thinkers, not sheep-like followers of ideology. I was frozen after the election. As the shit started rolling downhill, I decided to get moving by giving people the critical thinking skills to fight back.

Wherever I can, I’m using the textbook I’m writing to offer a thinly veiled critique of current American culture. Today, I covered class systems, politics, power, wealth, systemic inequality, propaganda, oligarchy, plutocracy, ethnic nationalism, nativism & why people vote against their interests.

I made a double chocolate keto cake today. Devil’s food with zero sugar dark chocolate chunks. I used a monk fruit blend sweetener. Discovered I need to use a bit more of it than other sweeteners. So, my cake tastes more like double chocolate muffins. Still delicious. And not super sweet.
