That's why I do it, and it works really well for me. It also allows me to kind of tune out of things I can't handle (like body horror), but I still get the story... and work also clears the scary parts out right away so don't stick hard like they do when I read.

I just finished Staircase in the Woods, and really enjoyed that, so I'm sure I will.
