⚖️ Situating debates on copyright and the protection of human creativity within a cultural rights framework.
🎨 Suggesting examples of creative practitioners who have integrated AI responsibly into their practice.

As one visitor noted: “I’m glad to see a human response to AI. Hopefully this inspires more dialogue.” We share this hope. We aim to bring Authenticity Unmasked to new locations soon, to reflect with other audiences on when and how authenticity should be codified in digital systems.

In 2018 I presented my ideas on creativity for the first time at a conference where she was present. I was too hesitant to approach her, I wish I had taken the opportunity to thank her for reawakening my passion for thinking about art and creativity.

I haven't stopped thinking about Boden's work since, and my engagement with the topic of creativity has always been in dialogue with her thoughts, guided by an aspiration to contribute to the field with comparable depth and clarity. 3/4

Then, I picked up The Creative Mind, a book that has deeply influenced my academic path. Boden's lucid writing gave me hope that my theoretical inquiry into the nature of art, creativity, and aesthetic perception could influence questions on the development of human and artificial creativity. 2/4

During the second year of my PhD, as I wrestled with the ideas I wanted to defend, I began to question whether those abstract questions concerning the nature of musical works warranted the effort I was investing in trying to answer them. 1/4

Make sure you read Amy’s book, it is an enlightening read for anyone interested in the nature of imagination and creativity, their role in human culture and the possibilities of non-human creativity.

It was an honour to write a critical notice of this brilliant book by @Amy Kind, a philosopher whose work has been a point of reference since I started working on creativity.
