(1) Woom by Ralston Duncan: How much trauma can one room fit? Well. Surprisingly enough to fit a whole 120 page book. This was a short read but for sure a hell of a ride to get through, not one minute made me go “Ugh.” I do recommend. I also have to add, content warning.

(1) Manhunt by Gretchen Felker - Martin I have mixed feelings on this book (mostly, I had a hard time figuring out what character was which) I did find the thought of anyone having a high level of testosterone in this world, would cause you to also turn into a killing machine.

(1) Brother by Ania Ahlborn: I still have mixed feelings about this book, I liked it, and then it fell flat for me towards the end. But I still liked it. It can be a tough read, but sometimes you need a book that just doesn’t end the way you want it to. Just like how real life can be sometimes.

(1) Clown in a Cornfield by Adam Cesare: I admit, I didn’t pay much attention to the synopsis. But that worked in the books favor for me. I thought the book was going to be one way, but then ended up a more interesting “Well. That’s not at all what I expected.”

(1) Unbury Carol by Josh Malerman: It’s a slow burn of a book, but honestly. The ending made it worthwhile. I recommend. Although I will knock part of it and say. It needed less of Smoke. He’s just a bad guy, to be a bad guy. Most of the book he just wastes time on in his own petty world.

(1) 172 Hours on the Moon: I don’t really know what to say about this book. It was a meh, kinda book. It was slow in the start, then rushed in the middle. The end was lackluster and predictable. I didn’t connect with any of the teenagers, didn’t really have time too either.

Slewfoot: A Tale of Bewitchery: This book caught my interest from the moment I saw the memorial at the start. Abi, is a likable main character with an even likable sidekick. The events in her life were sad, but the book takes a fun twist. Next book: 172 Hours on the Moon. #book #booksofbluesky

Jurassic Park: They really should have listened to the mathematician. It was a pretty fun experience to read. Very different from the movies, John really just did it all for the money huh? Well. Unfortunately dinosaurs don’t really understand the concept of money.

So update on my life. My mom has dementia. She’s never going to get better. Insurance took 4 months to finally get us the payout for the fire. Check hasn’t cleared. Last but not least we’re close to being foreclosed on because insurance didn’t cover hotel or food cost, we were paying everything out-
