Second 90s indie movie feat. Parker Posey was Clockwatchers. A drier, more cynical, female driven version of Office Space. Toni Colette as lead, w/ Lisa Kudrow, Parker and Alanna Ubach (from beakman's world!) playing the co-workers. Parker was her usual sarcastic, shitdisturber self. 6/10!

Mary remains a party girl at heart but also finds her passion for cataloguing/coding. The library scenes made me lol (lib tech here). "I assume you're familiar with the Dewey Decimal System?" Mary gets a look of horror. I was also living for the authentic NYC clubkid music & fashion. Loved it! 7/10.

I'm starting off with 1995's Partygirl. This ridiculous indie movie is about Mary (Parker), an NYC club kid who doesn't take life seriously and has no aspirations to become an adult. She's forced to work at a public library where her godmother is the head librarian.
