DC is a beautiful, vibrant, diverse city. It has the same issues that affect the rest of America--lack of affordable housing, aging infrastructure, crime, students who are struggling in school, but also has people who love it and are working to constantly improve it.

A view from a recent weekend visit to DC, enjoying open-air music and dancing in SW. Walked all over a neighborhood I probably would not have visited at night 20 or 25 years ago.If you want to lower crime in DC, have the House give DC back the $1billion in the city’s own funds it cut last March. .
