For Seattleites: Today’s the day to go through the cupboards and pick a few nutritious non-perishable food items to leave in the blue bag by the mailbox…and your friendly mailman will distribute to the folks who feed hungry folks.

Thinking about three very intelligent and kind and talented musician friends whom I got to know as men and who are now women…seem to be happier and more productive. We need to keep pointing this out as long as there are. people (expecially in positions of “power”) who don’t know and accept this.

Memories: working hard for my disabled veterans, trying to bring their health care up to the standard I learned at the Mayo Clinic. Getting awards from the veterans’ groups,, dinner with President Reagan. talking about how the veterans needed MORE from us; rather than less. Gotta keep talking.
