Could you please link me to that article? I can't find any statistics on gun violence based on party affiliation.

I'm not trying to be a Debbie Downer but we definitely need to get the Democrats in the Senate before we are able to do anything. I'm hopeful for the future, but it's going to take a long time before we are able to really hold people accountable without them just using their get out of jail card.

I was trying to find a book based on a black woman's experience after slavery... Accidentally read Dread Nation... I thought the zombie part was a metaphor 😂 anywho, it's a good book!

Yeah, we definitely have alot of banned books and a few private book burnings, mostly by Maga.
I downloaded all of Wikipedia in an effort to preserve information for my daughter who is only two and am considering buying history books for her that we can access currently. Incase things get worse.

I'm not super aware of the history that was taught in Germany around 1930s.
Honestly, if I wasn't interested in history, I probably would be a Republican like most of my family.
I enjoy researching subjects on my own.
There are a lot of YouTube videos over viewing the USA whitewashing though.

My understanding is America has whitewashed a lot of their education as well. (I was homeschooled, so I don't have an accurate description of the US school system.)

I think a lot of that can be explained by how originally we forced slavery on people of color to subdue them. They unfortunately are still falling for those tricks.
Same with women in religion, they are told they need to follow their husbands or fathers as the leader of their families.

It's so sad how many Americans are bitter and want to bring others down to their level. (Yes, I am an American)

I don't think they realize the more people are suffering, the less people will be donating to the food banks that they might need.

I have seen some things first hand as well as read a lot of studies on it.
There are reasons other countries have banned it.
I typically go about life, attempting to avoid it but it's acceptable if we have some occasionally. Same with my daughter.
