I'm in Guatemala. We have to take more remote roads to get where we're going. The US is requiring the government to inspect vehicles for migrants. They haven't found any, just a bunch of expired registrations and broken headlights. They sent a report to the US and asked to stop. They said no.

I don't like the stress of cutting it too close either. It's an all day trip anyway. Still have another 3.5 hour flight and 4-5 hours on a bus 😒
